When the focus is on getting a good night’s sleep, it’s easy to forget about nap time (and National Nap Day – which was yesterday). But special day or not, it’s important to remember that your little one needs naps too.

They will need to nap from 2 to 4 times a day and cutting back on naps won’t help at night. It can be a recipe for overtiredness and a worse night’s sleep — just avoid naps too close to bed.
