Gender roles are a range of behaviors & attitudes that are considered acceptable by society in accordance to a person’s biological/perceived sex. Gender roles are a social construct to maintain an inequality between the sexes. From hearing things like, ‘don’t fight like a girl’ to ‘men don’t cry’; the question remains, how we challenge society’s gender roles? We need to create a safe space and let kids express themselves.
