Deborah Lippmann Sweet Dreams - review
A story about my sweet nail Polish...
Even before the presence of his lacollection representative Deborah Lippmann, I, like all educated butyric, first turned to the all-knowing search engine to find out what butylkov miracle substance you should start your acquaintance with the brand. After evaluating the reviews, Swatch and discussions, I settled on three songs — so I want to call the works of Deborah Lippmann, one of which became "Sweet dreams".
So, in well-known shopping Mall where I went shopping, and took this fateful meeting, shrouded in the fragrance of sweetness and grandeur, and in a literal sense: on returning home I realized that out of the bag with the coveted bottle of shimmering potion, wafting a wonderful aroma of fluffy fruit soufflé with powdery notes! Despite the fact that such pleasure – merit employees of the shopping center, not a manufacturer of products, the joy of buying still increased. And consider the bottles would more often, because they are associated with such warm feelings... Ugh, I just couldn't wait, and when the first soldier Deborah Lippmann enter the security post of the beauty of my nails!
The first one was Do the mermaid, but today post is not about him, despite the fact that he magically wonderful and breathtakingly beautiful.
Sweet Dreams... the apparent Isutoshi and excessive glamor of the phrase it really is the whole point and essence of this nail Polish. Sweet – because the texture of the Polish is like that of cooked and still runny raspberry jam where I added lots and lots of sugar; Dreams – because it is jam, is loose in color, translucent on which dance glossy glare drew it to the attention of the light beam. And the biggest star in the whole of this work, of course, gold mica! Its particles are perfect in many different forms, there is not the usual geometric shapes and conventions; being made so thin, she tries to become completely transparent and disappear... but no, nothing of the kind, just consciousness aware of the possibility of the existence of such thin, but visible particles. Well, the wall thickness of the bubble is also staggering, but nevertheless we see all these wonderful tints and colored stains! It is the effect of "pieces bubble" reminded me of the play of light on the mica enclosed in a light raspberry jelly: the range of colors in the iridescence varies from pale pink and bright orange to light green-green! To observe all this action is a special joy.
As we all know, beauty requires sacrifice, and it is in some degree confirmed by some of the vagaries of the lacquer when applied, although I would rather call coquetry. The first layer is too transparent and is not always uniform, it requires a lot of experience and practice, however, the appropriate application of second coat will help to disguise the effect and the coating will be generally homogeneous, more dense, but nevertheless keeping the same airiness and light transparency, through which it penetrates with a bright light and there may be some loss of color intensity (visible in photos with flash and bright daylight). Please note, in the shade nail Polish is getting deeper and a little more modest in its strength.
The coating dries briefly, to use the drying was not necessary, but the finish line first made me think about the top, as it seemed that the gloss is not enough. However, I left the cover as is, in order to evaluate it during the day. As it turned out, my fears about the gloss was unnecessary, as the varnish itself is very nice glare, except that the presence of mica makes the surface is not glass-smooth, making the gloss is not as "glazed". However, the varnish requires a loud top for a different reason. Large pieces of mica can have on the edge of the nail and under mechanical stress can be picked up and pulling a tiny piece of paint chipped so formed, two of which I found by the end of the first day. A bad example is contagious, so wayward mica went over to the girlfriends and by the end of the second day, formed a couple more chips. But now I know steps to taming of the shrew.)
And all the same color, the Sweet Dreams formula does not leave me indifferent! It allows you to clearly feel the atmosphere of lightness, carefree, youthful, rich and bright, but still innocent and irresistibly charming with their smiling play of color and Golden shimmer...
