It’s not until I became a mother that I realised the immeasurable sacrifices my mother made for her three children. My parents were 21 when they had me. My mother found out about her ‘ happy accident’ whilst she was trekking on the base camp of the Himalayas, about to embark on an adventure around India. My father was in his final year of university and working full time, so my mother - who had been orphaned as a young teen - was alone with a teeny baby, with absolutely no support and very little money. I can’t begin to understand how difficult it must have been for her, without a mother to guide her through those tricky years.

An ode to my incredible mother, who raised three children whilst starting a career that smashed the glass ceiling before her time. Thank you for being such an inspiration. ❤️

Will I ever sleep again?!

After giving birth during a pandemic, surviving 15 solid weeks of homeschooling a 4 and 6 year old with a newborn in tow - and somehow working in between - I often wonder how I, and all the incredible juggling mamas out there, survived this crazy time.

Today I took a nap in the sun whilst my husband took the smalls for a walk in the woods.

It’s these tiny wins... and I’m taking every single one of them.

This man, this great man. Only now, after having had three newborns, with no help from family or maternity nurses, that I can truly reflect with immense gratitude...
Marry whomever you fancy, but choose wisely the person you co-parent with. Didier, my love, I couldn’t have chosen better if I tried. Thank you for being our rock through the insanity of juggling homeschooling and work, through days that end at 1am and begin at 4am. The best valentines of all. @undercurrentarchitects
