Breasts and Eggs by Mieko Kawakami is as confronting and modern as it’s title suggests. I love Kawakami’s depiction of what it is to be female today in Japan. It was originally published in Japan in 2008 but was just recently published in English! #decemberbookpick #nataliesbookclub @kawakami_mieko
