Walking Lunge: 4 sets, 10-15 reps each legn2. Broad Jump + Squat Jump: 4 sets, 10-15 repsn3. Split Squat: 4 sets, 10-15 reps each legn4. Reverse Hack Squat: 4 sets, 10-15 repsn5. Romanian Deadlift Variation on Reverse Hack Squat: 4 sets, 10-15 repsn6. Broad Jump: 4 sets, 10-15 repsnn| Broad Jump |n1. As always, land lightly and explode upn2. Your legs don’t need to be in a full toe- touch position. Try to make sure you legs go outside of your hips on the jump squat and land back in the narrow stance for the broad jumpn3. Take your time, “load” the muscle and explode upn4. The load is more important than the speedn5. To increase the intensity, you can add weight to each hand AND/ OR complete multiple star jumps before completing the next broad jumpnn| Reverse Hack Squat Romanian Deadlift |n1. Go to where YOU feel the stretch. For me, that’s almost at the bottom of the machine which isn’t necessary if you aren’t as flexible and feel the stretch sooner.n2. For this variation let the glutes pull in as you come up to the top of the motionn3. Don’t let your legs straighten especially if you have issues with strains behind the kneen4. Keep your back flat even when pulling the glutes towards the padn5. You can change the foot placement for subtle differences in the stretchn6. Hinge at the hipsnn| Split Squat |n1. Start with body weight if balance or flexibility are an issuen2. Wear proper shoes that will aid in your balance (flat)n3. Get a good stretch that burns but don’t push too far until you are comfortable with this range of motionn4. You don’t need a lot of weight. For me, body weight is harder than any weight I could lift for a lot of movements I completen5.
